Strete is a small coastal village sitting high on the cliffs between Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, just four miles from the historic port of Dartmouth. Strete is well served by a good village shop and Post Office, The Laughing Monk Restaurant and The Kings Arms, both well-known for good food.
The South West Coastal Footpath runs through Strete village and offers panoramic sea views across Start Bay looking towards Beesands, Hallsands and Start Point.
